J Metro New Single “Slow Motion”

J Metro releases new single “Slow Motion”! After being considered for three Grammy Nominations, J Metro continues his success with the release of his latest single, produced by Rueben Wood. The new sound captures a menacing twist in a relationship gone sour, only resulting in two options. Leave! Or do something you will regret in the near future.

Slow Motion is set to be used in new film “Classic Kutz” a Documentary about celebrity barber Teddy Maxwell and the struggles in the black community to achieve success.

Jimmie (J Metro) Moore is a Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist and Poet based in Houston Texas. Jimmie L Moore Jr. began his musical training at the age of 5 with individual piano and voice lessons, group musicianship skills were also learned at a young age when in middle school he learned to play the trombone participating in concert and marching band as well as joined several academic and community choral ensembles. Jimmie Moore received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Theory and Composition with primary instruments in Piano performance and Vocal Performance from Morehouse College.

This Houston based, artist has been gearing up to make 2015 his break out year, and that is just what has happen! Making headlines for his most anticipated body of work yet, Sentir Mon Amour has definitely created a new lane for the artist, that continues to put him in conversations with majors in the industry.

J Metro was also featured on Great Day Houston’s Debra Duncan show as the in studio live band. While featured he performed some of hits and a special tribute to the city of Baltimore, MD. During this performance he was set to play “Midnight Dreams” but instead chose “In Our Streets” to address the community issues surrounding breaking news and media portrayals of current happenings.
